About Lone Pine State Park
Established in 1941, the park set aside 270 acres of land on a hillside above the Flathead Valley for day-use recreation rather than overnight stays. Within its boundaries run 7.5 miles of trails open to hikers, mountain bikers, snowshoers, and horseback riders. The land offers no camping, focusing instead on trail-based activity year round.
