About Oasis State Park
A fishing lake sits among sand dunes at this park, formed within the dry plains landscape of eastern New Mexico. The lake provides a water-based feature in an area otherwise defined by dune formations, giving visitors both an angling spot and a stretch of sandy terrain to explore. The park has existed in this form since 1961.
