About Beaver Dunes State Park
Sand hills cover 300 of the park's 520 acres, set aside for dune buggy riding in the Oklahoma Panhandle. Beaver Lake, a roughly 2-acre pond stocked with largemouth bass, channel catfish, and perch, anchors the Hackberry Bend Campground, which also holds a one-room primitive cabin that sleeps four. A separate Pioneer Campground sits right against the dunes for direct off-road access, while the Big Sandy area offers a nature trail, sand volleyball court, and horseshoe pits.
