About Joseph H. Stewart State Recreation Area

Forty miles from Crater Lake National Park, this land sits along the Rogue River, where the water backs up into Lost Creek Reservoir. Campsites are positioned to overlook that reservoir. Management passed from the Oregon Parks and Recreation Department to county control on April 1, 2021.
