About Rib Mountain State Park
A monadnock rising to 1,942 feet forms the core of this 1,528-acre park, with an observation tower positioned to take in the surrounding terrain. Granite Peak Ski Area operates on its slopes, and the grounds also hold a former quarry, picnic areas, a reservable amphitheater, and a concession stand. Over 15 miles of trails cross the mountain, giving visitors several ways to explore its elevation and rock.
