About Ross Pond State Park

Rock climbing routes and mountain biking trails share the 372 acres spread across Killingly and Plainfield, alongside hiking paths, hunting grounds, fishing access, and a boat launch. A blue-blazed trail links the grounds directly to neighboring Old Furnace State Park. When first listed in Connecticut's state register in 1964, the property covered only 181 acres, less than half its current size.
