A lighthouse marks the southern tip of this barrier island, standing at Port Boca Grande where Charlotte Harbor meets Pine Island Sound. The park occupies the shoreline south of Boca Grande, giving access to swimming and fishing waters along with stretches for shelling and picnicking. Visitors can view the historic structure itself, which anchors the point where the island's beach meets open water.
