About Three Island Crossing State Park
The Snake River ford here marks a crossing point once used by Oregon Trail travelers, and the park was built around that historic site. Exhibits at the visitors center explain the crossing and its role in westward migration. The grounds also offer camping, cabins, and disk golf for visitors who want to spend more than an afternoon there.
