About Elk Rock State Park
Campsites, boat ramps, and trails make up the main section of land bordering Red Rock Reservoir, spread across both of its upstream banks. A separate, smaller section known as the Mile Long Bridge area sits apart from the main grounds. The reservoir setting places the park between Knoxville to the southwest and Pella to the northeast, giving visitors water access on two sides of the shoreline it occupies.
