About Chicot State Park
A man-made lake covering 2,000 acres sits surrounded by 6,400 acres of rolling hills, stocked with bass, crappie, bluegill, and red-ear sunfish for anglers who rent fishing boats onsite. Pavilions, barbecue pits, and picnic areas line the grounds, while primitive hike-to campsites, lodges, and furnished cabins offer places to stay. Whitetail deer, raccoons, coyotes, and bobcats live within the reserve's woods and hills.
