About Mount Blue State Park

Land management in the town of Weld became the foundation for this 7,489-acre property, split into two sections on either side of Webb Lake. One portion holds the lake's west shore, while the other climbs Mount Blue and neighboring summits to the east. A connecting road links the property to the adjacent Tumbledown Public Lands, 10,555 acres holding Little Jackson Mountain, Tumbledown Mountain, and the alpine Tumbledown Pond near their summits. Maine's Department of Agriculture, Conservation and Forestry oversees both areas.
