About Grafton Notch State Park
A mountain pass sits between Old Speck Mountain and Baldpate Mountain, both part of the Mahoosuc Range, and gives the park its name. The protected land covers 3,129 acres surrounding this notch, bordered by the eastern and western blocks of the Mahoosuc Public Reserved Land, which together add up to nearly 32,000 acres. Maine's Department of Agriculture, Conservation and Forestry oversees the property.
