The house and studio where Thomas Hart Benton lived and worked stand furnished as he left them at his death on January 19, 1975. Tours move through both buildings on the Belleview property, showing the rooms and workspace the Missouri artist used. The property was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1980 and remains under the Missouri Department of Natural Resources.
