About Clinton State Park
Music festival crowds once gathered here for the Wakarusa Music and Camping Festival, and triathletes swam, biked, and ran through the grounds during the Ironman Kansas 70.3. The 1,500-acre area sits along the north shore of Clinton Lake and borders a much larger 9,200-acre wildlife area, together forming a network of trails used for hiking, mountain biking, and cross-country skiing. Wildflower watchers and nature photographers also frequent the grounds.
