About Oliver Lee Memorial State Park
Dog Canyon, cut into the Sacramento Mountains, forms the base around which this 640-acre park is built. The two tracts of land preserve both the canyon itself and Oliver Lee's 19th-century ranch house, sitting at an elevation of 4,400 feet. Visitors can hike a nature trail, view wildlife, and take guided tours through the historic ranch house.
