About Evangola State Park

Lake Erie forms the northern edge of this 733-acre park, where a wide swimming beach sits beneath rock walls made of Angola shale. The land straddles the line between the towns of Brant and Evans, just west of Farnham, and has served as parkland since it opened in 1954. Visitors get both open water access and the shale cliffs framing the shoreline.
