About Icelandic State Park
A beach on Lake Renwick sits at the core of the grounds, backed by more than 900 acres of land including 200 wooded acres. The Pioneer Heritage Center and other historic buildings preserve pioneer-era structures, and the Gunlogson State Nature Preserve protects a stretch of native woodland within the park. A museum on site adds another stop for visitors exploring the area's Icelandic settlement history.
