About Turtle River State Park
The Turtle River winds through 775 acres of parkland, forming the backbone of the recreation area two miles north of Arvilla. Trails through the property are used for hiking and mountain biking in warmer months and cross-country skiing when snow covers the ground. The river itself draws anglers, and camping is available on the grounds for those staying longer.
