About Sitka Sedge State Natural Area
Tidal marsh, mudflats, dunes, forested wetlands, and uplands make up this 357-acre natural area at the south end of the Sand Lake estuary. The land sits near Tierra Del Mar and protects a stretch of estuary and beach habitat along the north Oregon coast. It combines wetland and shoreline terrain within a single, contiguous tract.
