About The Cove Palisades State Park
Lake Billy Chinook, formed where the Crooked, Deschutes, and Metolius rivers meet behind a dam, spreads across the land and water this park occupies. The park sits on the surrounding shoreline and bluffs above the reservoir, giving access to a body of water fed by three distinct rivers rather than one. It is managed by the Oregon Parks and Recreation Department.
