About Sand Bar State Park
Lake Champlain's shoreline forms the edge of this 15-acre park, giving visitors direct access to the water. The land was set aside in 1933 and remains small in scale compared to many state holdings along the lake. Its size limits the grounds mostly to the shore itself.
