About Knight Island State Park
125 acres of Knight Island make up most of this park's land in Lake Champlain, with a 10-acre section on the island's southern tip held privately and excluded. Access is by boat only, and since no dock exists, visitors need their own vessel and a plan for landing. The Vermont Department of Forests, Parks, and Recreation oversees the site within the state park system.
