About Guernsey State Park
The Guernsey Reservoir, formed by damming the North Platte River, anchors this park with campgrounds, boat ramps and hiking trails along its shore. Several structures built by the Civilian Conservation Corps in the 1930s still stand within the park, a period that coincided with the park's founding. The Bureau of Reclamation owns the facilities, while the Wyoming Division of State Parks and Historic Sites manages day-to-day operations.
