About Woolly Hollow State Park
370 acres of land surround Bennett Lake, a dam lake built starting in 1933 by Civilian Conservation Corps workers stationed at nearby Camp Halsey along with the Works Progress Administration. The park takes its layout from that constructed lake and the surrounding grounds. Arkansas Highway 285 provides the road access into the property.
