About Pinnacle Mountain State Park
A rocky, cone-shaped peak rises above the surrounding lowlands, forming the central landmark of the property. The 2,356 acres spread across bottomlands carved by the Big Maumelle and Little Maumelle rivers, giving the mountain a low, flat setting on most sides. This tract was set aside for public use in 1977.
