About Henry Cowell Redwoods State Park

The San Lorenzo River runs through this 4,623-acre stretch of forest and streamside land, which protects a grove of old-growth coast redwood along with the surrounding riparian habitat. Most of the acreage sits between Santa Cruz and Scotts Valley near Felton and the UC Santa Cruz campus, while a separate, non-contiguous section extends north of Felton into the Fall Creek area.
