About Devil's Millhopper Geological State Park

A sinkhole roughly 120 feet deep sits at the center of this park, formed by the collapse of the land above an underground cavity. A wooden stairway descends into the depression, giving visitors a look at the ferns and small streams growing along its walls. The site is managed by the Florida Park Service and borders San Felasco County Park and San Felasco Hammock Preserve State Park.
