About Georgia Veterans State Park
A memorial to U.S. Veterans laid out on the shores of Lake Blackshear, this 1,308-acre tract holds a museum displaying aircraft, vehicles, weapons, uniforms and other military memorabilia spanning from the Revolutionary War to the present. The lakefront setting pairs open water with the collected artifacts, giving visitors both a place on the water and a record of military history to explore on land.
