About Lake Walcott State Park
Built along the western shore of Lake Walcott, an 8,000-acre reservoir formed by the Snake River behind Minidoka Dam, this 65-acre park sits next to land now managed as the Minidoka National Wildlife Refuge. The water and adjoining refuge shape most of what the park offers, including boating, fishing, and water sports on the reservoir. On land, visitors can picnic, camp, and play disc golf.
