About George Wyth Memorial State Park
The Cedar River runs alongside four separate lakes here: Brinker, George Wyth, Fisher, and Alice Wyth, each open to fishing and boating. Over 10 miles of paved and unpaved trails connect the shoreline for hiking and biking, and camping is available on the grounds. The park was dedicated in 1940 under the name Josh Higgins Parkway before being renamed for Cedar Falls businessman George Wyth.
