About Cedar Rock State Park
426 acres surround the Lowell Walter House, a one-story residence designed by Frank Lloyd Wright in his Usonian style for a local businessman and his wife. Set on a bluff above a bend of the Wapsipinicon River, the property also includes a gate, fireplace, and boathouse of Wright's design, along with a visitor center. The house is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
