About Lacey-Keosauqua State Park
A stretch of land along the Des Moines River spans 1,653 acres, one of the larger public recreation areas in the region. Hiking trails, swimming and fishing spots, and campsites are laid out across the grounds. Three separate areas within the park were recognized on the National Register of Historic Places in 1990, marking them as nationally significant historic districts.
