About South Toledo Bend State Park
Toledo Bend Reservoir borders the park, one of two Louisiana state parks sitting on its shores. The land was acquired in 1979 but stayed undeveloped until facilities opened to the public on November 20, 2004. Its address, 120 Bald Eagle Road in Anacoco, points to the lakeside setting that drew visitors for the water-based recreation it offers.
