About Craig Lake State Park
Several lakes make up the core of this 9,732-acre recreation area, reachable only on foot or by paddling in. There are no roads leading directly to the water here, so access depends entirely on the visitor's own effort. The land protects a stretch of Upper Peninsula backcountry left largely undeveloped, with the lakes forming the main draw for anyone willing to walk or paddle in to reach them.
