About Buccaneer State Park
Every structure here was destroyed by Hurricane Katrina in 2005 and the park was rebuilt from that loss. It sits on the Gulf of Mexico, straddling the line between Waveland and Clermont Harbor off U.S. Highway 90 and Beach Boulevard. The setting is coastal, with the water shaping what visitors find on the grounds.
