About Pawtuckaway State Park

5,000 acres make up this preserve, stretching from the western shore of Pawtuckaway Lake to the far side of the Pawtuckaway Mountains. Both the lake and the mountain range give the park its name and its two main landscapes, water on one end and hills on the other. It ranks among the largest state parks in the southeastern part of New Hampshire.
