Named for a conservationist who fought to preserve the Hudson River shoreline from development, this land was set aside to protect that view and the wooded hillside above the river. The 251-acre property sits within the Town of Lloyd and is managed by Scenic Hudson as part of the Palisades Interstate Park system, linking it to a network of protected river lands rather than standing as an isolated tract.
