Water covers much of this park's 6,601 acres, formed by Mosquito Creek Lake and the land wrapped around its southern half. The park itself sits on ground leased from the United States Army Corps of Engineers, which controls the lake and most of the surrounding acreage, while the Ohio Department of Natural Resources manages the land for public use.
