About Ryerson Station State Park

Ronald J. Duke Lake once covered 52 acres within this 1,164-acre park, formed by a dam built in 1960 on the North Fork of the Dunkard Fork of Wheeling Creek. The lake was drained in 2005 after engineers found structural problems with the dam. The park sits in Richhill Township, just off Pennsylvania Route 21 and close to the West Virginia state line.
