About Good Earth State Park
July 19, 2013 marks the dedication of this park along the Big Sioux River. It contains the Blood Run Site, a National Historic Landmark recognized for its history as a settlement for thousands of Native Americans, and a visitor center with displays explaining that significance. The grounds stay open all year for recreation, including hiking along the river corridor.
