About Bottle Beach State Park
Birding experts Bob Morse and Ruby Egbert personally funded the land purchase that created this park in 1993, and it opened two years later in 1995. The 64-acre park is made up mostly of tide flats along 6,000 feet of shoreline on the southern edge of Grays Harbor, near the historic townsite of Ocosta. Its Ruby Egbert Natural Area carries her name, and visitors come here for hiking, birdwatching, and wildlife viewing.
