About Harrington Beach State Park
A mile-long stretch of Lake Michigan shoreline anchors this 715-acre park, backed by a white cedar swamp that surrounds a 26-acre lake. That lake began as a stone quarry before filling in. Beyond the beach, the grounds hold hiking trails, picnic areas, and spots set aside for bird watching.
