About Bull Shoals-White River State Park
Trout fishing draws visitors to this stretch of water, considered among the nation's best for the sport. The 732-acre park stretches along Bull Shoals Lake and the White River, both above and below Bull Shoals Dam, built by the Army Corps of Engineers on the river before the park joined the state system in 1955. Facilities include picnic areas, a marina with boat rentals, interpretive programs, and a visitors' center with a gift shop.
