About Grover Hot Springs State Park

Alvin Merrill Grover, who acquired a share of this land in 1878, built a bathhouse and fenced off the natural hot springs that now give the park its name. Sitting on the eastern side of the Sierra Nevada, the park centers on those hot springs, which feed a swimming pool open to visitors. Beyond the pool, the grounds include a campground, a picnic area, and hiking trails.
