About Lake Tahoe State Park
A historic water delivery network, now recognized on the National Register of Historic Places and honored as a National Historic Civil Engineering Landmark, runs through this park's boundaries: the Marlette Lake Water System. The protected land spans roughly 14,301 acres along the lake's northeast shoreline, made up of several separate management units and public recreation areas rather than one continuous tract.
