About Jack London State Historic Park

Ruins of a house that burned down months before Jack London and his family could move in still stand on the property, alongside a cottage where they actually lived and another house built afterward. The grounds also hold the graves of London and his wife, on the eastern slope of Sonoma Mountain. The site carries both California Historical Landmark and National Historic Landmark status.
