About Will Rogers State Historic Park

Rogers' 186-acre ranch estate in the Santa Monica Mountains was preserved to protect the humorist's home and grounds after his death, with the ranch house entering the National Register of Historic Places in 1971. That ranch house, the main stables, and several other structures burned in the 2025 Palisades Wildfire, though the original garage turned visitor center, some smaller outbuildings, and dozens of art pieces and personal artifacts survived.
