About Eden Gardens State Park

161.04 acres of grounds surround the Wesley House, a two-story mansion ringed by white columns and verandas, sitting on Tucker Bayou. Inside, the furnishings include pieces of late 18th century French furniture, and the house was used as a filming location for the 1972 horror movie Frogs. The grounds hold several gardens and large, old southern live oaks, and the mansion was listed on the National Register of Historic Places as Eden Mansion in 2021.
