About A. H. Stephens State Park
1,177 acres of land carry the name and legacy of Alexander H. Stephens, Vice President of the Confederate States and a former Georgia governor. His home, Liberty Hall, stands fully restored to its 1875 appearance, and the on-site museum holds one of the state's largest collections of Civil War artifacts. Beyond the historic buildings, the grounds include mill ponds for fishing and a network of nature trails.
