About St. Mary's River State Park

A 250-acre reservoir, St. Mary's Lake, forms one part of this park's two separate sites. The second site spans 2,200 acres and remains largely undeveloped, offering a contrast to the lake area. Both properties fall under the management of the Maryland Department of Natural Resources, splitting the park between a water feature and a much larger stretch of unimproved land.
